It's OK to watch porn at work during your lunch hour, Italy's highest court rules

Fiat wanted to sack an employee who was caught watching pornographic DVDs on his laptop

 The Supreme Court ruled that the worker was free to do what he wanted on his lunch break

Watching pornography at work during your lunch break is not a sackable offence, Italy's highest court has ruled.

The Supreme Court in Rome rejected the judgment of a lower court which had sanctioned the decision by Fiat, the car manufacturer, to sack a factory worker who was caught watching pornographic films on his personal computer during a break in his shift.

The employee, identified in court documents only as Giuseppe Z, was caught watching a hardcore DVD on his laptop at a Fiat factory in Termini Imerese in Sicily in 2008.

A search of his locker revealed two other pornographic DVDs.

The Supreme Court ruled that the worker was free to do what he wanted on his lunch break and should not have been fired.

Judges in Rome said that he had enjoyed "just a glimpse of the film during a meal break" and that it had not interfered with the rest of his shift.
The worker was found watching the porn in an electricity supply room on the factory floor.
The protracted legal case began in 2010 when a court in Sicily upheld Fiat's decision to dismiss the man.
But the judgment was overturned in 2011 by a court of appeal in Palermo, the regional capital, and its decision has now been confirmed by the Supreme Court.
The court in Rome did, however, rule in Fiat's favour in another case – that of an employee at its factory in Turin who was caught smoking marijuana during his lunch break.
The judges upheld the company's right to sack him.

Emily Letts, a 25-year-old American woman has filmed her own abortion in a bid to "show it wasn't scary". Dina Rickman, despite being passionately pro-choice, is far from impressed

It takes 37 seconds and four cutaways for Emily Letts to explain she’s having an abortion. First the fresh-faced American is in a car, sans make-up, vulnerable, before the scene switches and we see her dressed up, and smiling at the camera. Then she’s in a dark room. The footage is grainy, like it’s being filmed on a smartphone. Finally, Letts is sitting in what looks like her living room. The shot is a close-up, the atmosphere almost confessional. “Hi”, she says to the camera, breathlessly, before explaining that she’s a counsellor working in a US abortion clinic and she’s pregnant. Suddenly Letts is walking into a procedure room in a surgical gown and hat, ready to have a termination.



The three minute long non-graphic video was uploaded to YouTube in March, and went viral after winning an award for breaking abortion stigma. For some, it is a taboo-breaking, stigma-busting triumph for the pro-choice movement. US website Feministing called it an “important, useful intervention” and praised Letts for helping to demystify abortion. Predictably, pro-life bloggers are up in arms, with some calling Letts - who let’s remember is only 25 - a “witch from hell”. For me, it’s an awkward and uncomfortable watch - there is barely a second of the video that did not make me squirm.

Something fishy going on: Creature comes back to life AFTER being cooked - Watch Video

A HUNGRY woman preparing to tuck into her fish supper got more than she bargained for when it began wriggling on her plate - after being cooked.

 In an extraordinary video, the Chinese woman can be seen picking up her chopsticks and moving aside a creamy tomato sauce as the fish’s fins begin flapping.

Although the body of the fish has been cut up and cooked, the head can be seen reacting as the woman plunges the chopsticks further into the remainder of its body.

However, the enthusiastic diner is completely unconcerned by the movement on her plate and tucks in enthusiastically during the video filmed at a restaurant in Yuexiu District, located in the Chinese province of Guangzhou.

Cases of animals that apparently spring back to life long after they should be dead is not a new phenomenon.

 

 

A video which went viral earlier this year shows a woman wrestling with a fish in her kitchen - after she has removed the head and gutted it.

A dog can be heard barking in the background as the woman and her husband laugh while the headless fish flips itself into the sink.

 The husband shrieks: "What the hell?" as the woman preparing the fish grabs a towel to stop it wriggling away.

And it is not only dead fish which have left people with raised eyebrows.

Another video reveals a woman’s shock after the joint of meat she bought from a butcher starts pulsating and twitching.

The 20-second clip shows the slab of beef moving on the table top.

 The woman, from China, bought the meat an hour earlier but it is not clear when the animal was slaughtered.

 

The woman said when she first saw it moving she thought it was full of maggots until she cut it open and realised there were no worms inside it.
