These 16 ‘Harry Potter’ Actors Look Crazy Different After 14 Years

Actors age? Whhaaaaaat?

If ever there’s a meme of some child actor years later and they have a beard or something with the caption “Feel old now?”, top comment is always “people age. Get over it”. It’s annoying because like none of us need to be reminded of that, it’s just sometimes a bit of a shocker when you see someone older than they used to be…

So here’s 15 Harry Potter actors who got older. Prepare to be mildly mythed.

1. Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter. That’s quite a transformation…

2. Emma Watson as Hermione Granger… my heart hearts

3. Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley. I mean… he’s the same as ever.

4. James and Oliver Phelps as Fred and George. FRED DIES FRED DIES FRED DIES

5. Matthew Lewis as Neville Longbottom. Forget what I said about Daniel Radcliffe. That’s the transformation of the century.

6. Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy. Like Rupert Grint. He really hasn’t changed…

7. Bonnie Wright as Ginny Weasley. The lady Matthew Lewis.

8. Harry Melling as Dudley Dursley. The unsung hero who filled Harry with ten years of pent up rage…

9. Maggie Smith as Minerva McGonagall. Now she just chills at Downton. Fair play.

10. John Cleese as nearly headless Nick. Nearly loosing your head? Just a flesh-wound.

11. Alan Rickman as Severus Snape. He’s smiling!

12. David Bradley as Argus Filch. Always felt sorry for Filch, he just wanted to be magic.

13. Michael Gambon took over the Dumbledore roll for Prisoner of Azkaban after Richard Harris sadly passed away in 2002.

14. Ralph Fiennes finally got his crack of the Voldemort whip in the Goblet of Fire in 2005… I’d say he looks better now

15. Evanna Lynch joined the cast as Luna Lovegood for Order of the Phoenix and well, she looks no different.

16. Best actor in the world, Gary Oldman, starred as Sirius Black in Prisoner of Azkaban onwards. His OotP death still haunts me.

So the Potter actors did that thing humans do and got older. I can’t say I’m surprised but, you know, it’s still a bit of a shocker when you see them side by side.

What do you think? Let us know in the comments..!

'Supergirl' is the Superman story we've been waiting for

'Supergirl' is the Superman story we've been waiting for

It's a bird. It's a plane. It's one of the best-known stories in pop culture. And after nearly 80 years, it may seem like there's nothing left to say about Superman. Until now.
On October 26, CBS will finally join every other primetime network by wading into the superhero genre with Supergirl. The show comes from the minds behind the CW hits Arrow and The Flash — Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg — as well as Ali Adler of Glee, Chuck, and The New Normal. With that pedigree, it's either going to soar or have a buzz better than its bite — and luckily for CBS, the pilot indicates that the show is more likely to do the former.
While Supergirl's origins have changed throughout the years, her TV story matches up fairly well with established canon. Kara Zor-El — who's older than her famous cousin, Superman (a.k.a. Kal-El, later a.k.a. Clark Kent) — was sent to Earth in order to take care of him.
Unfortunately, the dangers of space travel stranded her in a region known as the Phantom Zone for two decades. By the time she arrived on our planet, she was still a child; her cousin had grown into a super man. Adopted by the human Danvers family, Kara lived a normal Earthly life before deciding she wanted to do and be more.
Supergirl's Kara, played by the endearing Melissa Benoist, is a true millennial heroine. She's stuck working as an assistant in a large media company; she goes on failed online dates. She's constantly trying to find her place in the world, to solidify her identity. Like the rest of us, she has potential she isn’t living up to.
But unlike us, her potential comes in the form of literal superhuman powers.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Sets World Record

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Sets World Record For Taking The Most Selfies In 3 Minutes

College football player, wrestler, actor, wedding officiant and superhuman eater: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is quite the talented fellow.
Now, the 43-year-old can add one more accomplishment to his list. He’s also a world record holder, of rapid-fire selfie-taking, no less.
According to Guinness World Records, Johnson set a new record last week for the most selfies taken in three minutes. The actor reportedly took a whopping 105 selfies with fans at the London premiere of “San Andreas” to achieve the title.
A Guinness World Records adjudicator was reportedly on hand to ensure that “selfie rules were followed.” The full face and neck of participants had to be visible in all the shots, with “no blurring.”

Johnson posted a video of his victory on Instagram Friday.
“We just set a NEW GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for most self-portraits (selfies) taken in record time (yup, a selfie world record exists and your arm gets a helluva workout),” he wrote in the caption.

Forget “Scorpion King.” The Rock is now selfie royalty.

Brooks Ayers Says Deciding to Split From Vicki Gunvalson Was Like a ''Piano Lifted Off My Back''

Brooks Ayers Says Deciding to Split From Vicki Gunvalson Was Like a ''Piano Lifted Off My Back''

It seems like Briana Culberson isn't the only one who may have felt a sigh of relief when Brooks Ayers and her mother Vicki Gunvalson broke up.
During an exclusive sit-down interview with E! News, Ayers explained that he and Vicki began seeing a counselor back in March. He said he talked about their relationship not being a lasting one, and saying the words stirred some new feelings in him.
"I said, 'Listen, we need some third-party help. I'm not gonna be influenced by you,'" he told us. "So we began seeing, of all things, a reality TV couples counselor. We made the decision that we probably weren't going to be for forever, and when I made that statement mid-July in the counseling session, it was like…the piano was lifted off my back."
Meanwhile, Vicki had a different choice of words when discussing their split.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star appeared on Watch What Happens Live recently and told host Andy Cohen that she and her ex-boyfriend of four years are done...for good. Cohen asked the reality TV star why she decided to call it quits, and she said it was a result of "a lot of things."
"I just think the conflict with [daughter] Briana, and him and I. Being from the South, he really wanted to go back to the South," she explained. She also said that filming her series took its toll.
"I just think the stress of the show, and he's sick," she continued, referencing Ayers' cancer diagnosis. "At the end of the day it just didn't work anymore. Long term we were not going to work. Short term it was amazing."
To hear more of our exclusive with Brooks, watch part one of our interview on E! News Monday at 7 & 11 p.m., and don't forget to catch the first part of The Real Housewives of Orange County season 10 reunion Monday night at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

Nicole Kidman Recalls "Running" From Her Life After Tom Cruise Split, Talks About Her 4 Kids

Nicole Kidman is recalling the personal turmoil she underwent following her split from first husband Tom Cruise and how she felt the "loneliest" she had ever felt after winning an Oscar.
At the Women In the World Summit in London on Thursday, the 48-year-old actress talked about her life after the end of her first marriage, her husband Keith Urban and being a mother of four children, two with Cruise and two with Urban.
Kidman was asked if she thinks the "difficult time" in the years following her split from Cruise unleashed a lot of creativity within her, given that Moulin Rouge! and The Hours, which earned the actress her first and only Oscar, were released following the split. She and the now 53-year-old actor divorced in 2001 after more than 10 years of marriage.
"I was running from my life at that time," Kidman said. "I wasn't able to handle the reality of my life and as an actor, you have this wonderful thing where you can go and get lost in somebody else's life and become somebody else for a period of time. And when I look back on it, I really see that. Out of that came work that sort of was applauded and so that was an interesting thing for me.

"I then sort of embraced my own life and I got myself together and it took me a number of years and during that time, I worked a lot. The work was a great place for me to exist and then that culminated in winning an Oscar."
After winning the Academy Award, Kidman had an "epiphany."
"I was sitting in the Beverly Hills Hotel and it was all extraordinary and I was the loneliest I've ever been," she said. "And that was a very strange thing to have happened and it was a fantastic thing to have happened because I was jolted out of this, I suppose, need or desire to say, 'This is gonna heal me' and it didn't. And then I went, 'I need to really hone in on what I want as a woman and for my life.'"
Kidman has told Australia's Harper Bazaar in 2013 that winning an Oscar showed her "the emptiness" of her own life.

During the talk, Kidman was asked about her current family life. The actress and Urban, 47, wed in 2006 and share two daughters, Sunday, 7, and Faith, 4.
Kidman said she and the country star and American Idol judge did not know each other well when they married and that she wanted to have a baby the minute they met. She gave birth to Sunday at age 41 and the two welcomed Faith via a surrogate in 2010.

Kidman and Cruise's children, Isabella and Connor (pictured below), are 22 and 20 years old. The actress, who lives in Nashville with Urban and their daughters, told DuJour magazine it is very important for her to keep in touch with all her kids.
Isabella recently got marriedWomen's Day reported. Her parents and brother did not attend the wedding, although Cruise footed the bill, People said, quoting a source close to Kidman as saying she is "very happy for Bella."

At the Women In the World Summit, the actress was asked if there was any difference between mothering her daughters with Urban and mothering her son and daughter with Cruise.
"There's no difference, because you love...and the love is so profound and it's once you have that child and you go, 'Ah, I'm willing to die for this person,'" Kidman said. "And you see and you feel that, and that, that changes everything, doesn't it?"

Harry Potty: Fans Trespassing On Famous Viaduct

Police say a number of people have been spotted walking along the Highlands line crossed by the Hogwarts Express in the films.

Harry Potter fans are being urged not to trespass on railway lines after a family were spotted running along a viaduct which features in the films.
The couple and young child were spotted near the Glenfinnan viaduct in the Highlands in the summer.
Two other men were also spotted on the track taking photographs.
The viaduct is on the route of the Jacobite Steam Train and is seen in the Daniel Radcliffe films when the Hogwarts Express crosses over it.
British Transport Police (BTP) said it has recently been made aware of a number of incidents where people have been trying to view or photograph trains as they pass over the iconic structure.

The viaduct was built between 1897 and 1901

On one occasion a group of hillwalkers appeared to be wandering casually on the line between Glenfinnan and Arisaig.
BTP constable Nicky Ritchie said: "We know that visitors, many of them foreign, want to enjoy this incredibly scenic area and are keen to see and capture the trains, particularly steam trains, crossing what is without doubt a magnificent structure.
"However, they have to realise that they need to do it safely and without breaking the law."
Mark Henderson, senior community engagement manager for Network Rail, warned of the dangers of trespassing.
He said: "Trains travelling at speed take a long time to stop and anyone struck by one is likely to be killed or very badly injured.
"We work closely with BTP to educate the public on the dangers of misusing the railway and are committed to making sure people fully understand the risk they face when straying onto operational railway land."
